A closed-door roundtable on the state of AI in engineering biology in the Philippines across health, agriculture and energy, with senior figures from government, academia, think tanks and industry. Around 60 people joined in person and online to test the mapping study’s early findings.

The roundtable was the validation workshop for AISA’s four-country mapping study of AI and engineering biology. Findings from the desk review and interviews were put to the practitioners they described: two of the six core findings were strongly confirmed and three were refined in the room.
